They offered samples of their usual cookies, which were all delicious. This cookie shop wasn't focused on filling their cookies with candy or extras the way some cookie shops do, this place is all about the cookie itself. You can absolutely tell that the dough is handmade and fresh, and not shipped in frozen. That, and they were baked with a perfectly good center and crisp edges, just as a cookie should be.
